Histofreezer Mix Mini

Portable Cryosurgical System

Class IIA CE Medical Device.

Cryotherapeutic agent that uses a localized freezing method for controlled destruction or removal of living tissue. Clinically proven to treat 9 different warts and benign lesions:

  • vulgar wart;
  • plantar wart;
  • molluscum contagiosum (transmitted by contact);
  • lentigo (age spots);
  • condyloma (genital warts);
  • seborrheic keratosis;
  • pedunculated fibroma;
  • flat wart;
  • actinic keratosis (facial and non-facial).

The 2 mm applicators remain cool for 90 seconds, while the 5 mm ones remain cool for 120 seconds.

Method of use

Expose the surface to be treated facing upwards. Attach the applicator to the canister. Remove the protective cover from the button and spray the gas into the applicator until droplets emerge from it. Keep the can upright. Hold the applicator upside down and wait 15 seconds for it to reach the actual operating temperature. Place the applicator on the affected tissue to be frozen and apply slight pressure. In this last phase it is important that the applicator is turned upside down.
1 to 4 applications are recommended, at 2 week intervals. In a single treatment session, 1-2 freezing and thawing cycles are used. Conclude the treatment when the disappearance of the traces of the disorder is established.
It is necessary that the treated skin area is kept clean and is not touched or scraped.

Warnings
For professional use. Slightly flammable product. Canister under pressure. Do not use in combination with diathermy devices or near them. Do not puncture or burn, even after use. Do not spray into flames or red-hot or glowing elements. Cryotherapy is contraindicated in patients with cryoglobulinemia. It may cause depigmentation as an undesirable effect, particularly on subjects with more pigmented complexions. Cryotherapy can cause an intense burning sensation to the skin. Sometimes cryotherapy leads to blistering: don't engrave them in any case; instead, protect them by covering them with a plaster. The supply of further cryogenic agent causes more condensation of water vapor on the applicator, wetting it to the point of preventing its function as a weed. On it you will notice the formation of ice crystals. In this case, replace the applicator with a new one. The Histofreezer portable cryosurgical system should only be used in combination with special applicators. Imprudent use can result in excessive freezing, resulting in injury to the dermis, scar formation and nerve damage.

Store away from sunlight and heat: do not expose to temperatures above 50 ° C.
Validity in unopened package: 36 months.
