TROSYD® 1% TIOCONAZOLE
CREAM AGAINST SKIN MUSHROOMS
The skin can be affected by troublesome problems, such as cutaneous mycoses, on which it is good to intervene promptly to avoid their deterioration. Trosyd® 1% Cream is an antifungal cream included in the Trosyd® product line dedicated to skin disorders, which offers a remedy aimed at the main dermatomycoses.
Skin mycoses are skin infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and other fungi (fungi) that affect the skin. These are fungi that are actually present on the skin, where they live habitually without causing pathologies; in particular conditions, however, they can become pathogenic and cause skin inflammation. Although they are mostly asymptomatic, mycoses are transmitted with great ease; precisely the fact that they do not present symptoms, facilitates their extension to other parts of the body and increases the risk of contagion between individuals.
Giuliani Dermatological Research has developed an antifungal treatment in cream against dermatomycoses.
Trosyd® Cream is an anti- fungal cream for the skin , indicated for the treatment of dermatomycoses sustained by dermatophytes, yeasts and other cutaneous fungi sensitive to Tioconazole.
Tioconazole is an active ingredient present in Trosyd® cream at a concentration of 1% which, thanks to its broad spectrum of action, is indicated for both yeasts and dermatophytes, and for Gram-positive bacteria sensitive to tioconazole. Tioconazole therefore has a double fungicidal and antibacterial action , thanks to which Trosyd® Crema is able to eradicate fungi and bacteria, reducing the risk of relapses.
How to apply
Trosyd® 1% Cream is indicated for localized and hairless areas , in the case of desquamative and dry lesions. The Trosyd® Cream product is a cream for skin fungi to be applied twice a day, morning and evening , by gently massaging the skin affected by mycosis and the area immediately surrounding the affected area. In skin folds it is advisable to apply cmap antifungine in small quantities and then spread it carefully to avoid maceration.
Duration of treatment
The duration of treatment with Tioconazole needed to achieve healing varies from patient to patient and can be assessed in relation to the infecting agent and the site of infection.
A 7-day treatment is usually sufficient to achieve healing in most patients with Pityriasis versicolor (fungal infection that occurs with coffee-milk colored spots, generally located on the trunk), while up to 6 weeks of treatment may be needed in case of severe forms of Tinea Pedis , especially with regard to the hyperkeratotic clinical variety.
The duration of treatment required for dermatophyte infections and other localizations for Candidase and Eritasma is usually between 2 and 4 weeks .
