Cistiflux A Plus 36 + D Sofar Food Supplement
CISTIFLUX A Plus sachets is very useful as an adjuvant for the treatment of cystitis and in the prophylaxis of uncomplicated urinary infections, in the event that a synergistic action is needed to prevent bacterial adhesion to the urothelium and therefore favor its elimination with the urine, such as in relapsing cystitis.
Cistiflux is a food supplement based on cranberry, the latter is an intense red berry, native to some areas of North America, which has been considered for centuries as a food with numerous health-giving properties. Today, it is mainly used as a complement in bacterial cystitis, inflammation of the bladder mucosa, very annoying and irritating, which often occurs in recurrent form especially in women of childbearing age. About 85% of lower urinary tract infections (bladder and urethra) are caused by uropathogenic strains of an intestinal bacterium, Escherichia coli.
American cranberry contains several phytochemical components, in particular proanthocyanidins (PACs), which promote the elimination of uropathogenic bacterial strains in urine, in particular E. coli, because they counteract their adhesion to the walls of the urinary tract.
What are the benefits of taking these two components?
Cranberry is mainly used as an adjuvant in the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections. Its benefits are attributable to proanthocyanidins, which interfere with the adhesion of uropathogenic bacteria to the bladder mucosa. These uropatogem strains rely on the adhesive capacity of P-type fimbriae for colonization, the first step in an infectious process. Proanthocyanidins (PACs) especially of type A present in cranberry, as demonstrated by in vitro and in vivo experiments, act at the molecular level going to inhibit precisely the R-type fimbriae thus preventing bacteria from adhering to cells and colonizing them. D-mannose is able to act in synergy with the proanthocyanidins contained in cranberry, in glove it has a high affinity for the iectins-jaannosio-scnsibili of many bacteria, including Escherichia coli.
D-Mannose, in fact, by binding to these lectins, present on the P-type fimbriae of these bacteria, counteracts their adhesion to the urinary mucous membranes, promoting their elimination through the urine.
Medical device based on cranberry extract titrated in type A proanthocyanidins (36 mg per sachet) and D-mannose.
It does not contain Lactose and Gluten.
The titre in proanthocyanidins type A is guaranteed by the use of a validated and highly sensitive method, known as DMAC (from the name of the colorimetric reagent used dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde). CISTIFLUX A Plus represents a natural approach to help counteract cystitis, both as a complement to acute antibiotic therapy and in the prophylaxis of uncomplicated urinary infections, thanks to the recognized properties of type A and D-mannose proanthocyanidins (PACs) in preventing bacterial adhesion to the urothelium.
The product has no side effects and contraindications except in patients known to be sensitive to the components contained in the product.
How should cistiflux A Plus 36 + D sachets be taken?
In a very simple way, just pour the contents of one sachet a day into a glass of natural water at room temperature and drink in small sips, preferably in the evening before bedtime, with an empty bladder and between meals. It is important to remember that, to promote urinary flow and, therefore, the elimination of bacteria present in the bladder, it is necessary to drink at least 1.5 - 2 liters of water throughout the day.
