Eye drops for red eyes Inflamed And Allergic Conjunctivitis

Tetramil Eye Drops is used for states and allergic inflammation of the conjunctiva accompanied by photophobia, tearing, foreign body sensation, pain.

Dosage and mode of use
Tetramil Eye drops should be taken on these doses and methods: instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye 2-3 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Carefully follow the recommended dose. A higher dosage of the product even when taken topically and for a short period of time can give rise to serious systemic effects.


  • Hypersensitivity to product components or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view; especially to Xylometazoline, oxymetazoline, tetryzoline.
  • Glaucoma narrow / narrow angle or other serious eye diseases. Contraindicated in children under the age of twelve.
  • Generally contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation (see. Par. 4.6). Contraindicated in concomitant treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (tranylcypromine, phenelzine, pargyline)

Special warnings
The product, while having very little systemic absorption, should be used with caution in patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, and hyperglycemia (diabetes). In the case of a continuation or worsening of symptoms after short period of treatment the patient to seek medical advice.

In any event, the product should not be used for more than 4 consecutive days, unless otherwise prescribed, because of the possibility that they may occur otherwise, unwanted effects. If the product is accidentally ingested or when used for long periods in excessive doses, it can cause toxic phenomena. Infections, pus, foreign objects in the eye, mechanical, chemical damage, heat, requiring medical attention.

The use, especially if prolonged topical products can lead to sensitization. In this case you must stop treatment and appropriate therapy instituted. The multidose vial contains merthiolate as preservative that can give rise to sensitization reactions, and should not be applied while wearing contact lenses (in the case of wearers of contact lenses, wear the same only 15 minutes after the use of the product) . In these cases you can use the single-dose container that does not contain preservatives.

Pregnancy and lactation

During pregnancy and lactation, use only in case of real need, under the direct supervision of a doctor.

Shelf life and storage
See expiry date on the package. The expiry date refers to the sealed container when stored. The vial should be discarded after use, even if only partially used.

Caution: Do not use the medicine after the expiration date on the package.

Tetramil Eye Drops contains:
Active ingredient: pheniramine maleate 0.30 g tetryzoline hydrochloride 0.05 g
Excipients: Boric acid; Borax; Water for injections.

Pack with 10 single-dose vials of 0.5 ml.
