VENÌ is a food supplement based on horse chestnut and troxerutin. Horse chestnut has historically been used in the treatment of venous insufficiency. Its active ingredient is aescin, contained in the seeds and bark of the plant. Aescin is a mixture of triterpene saponins effective in increasing venous tone and capillary resistance, in reducing capillary permeability, in reducing transcapillary filtration of liquids and in favoring the removal of interstitial liquids (anti-edema action). In addition to venous insufficiency of the lower limbs, horse chestnut extracts have been shown to be useful in the treatment of haemorrhoidal syndrome.

Troxerutin is a flavonoid present in many species of fruit and vegetables, as well as in tea and cereals, whose pharmacological activity consists in reducing filtration at the capillary level, favoring the reabsorption of edema due to venous insufficiency. Furthermore, troxerutin is effective in inflammation of the venous endothelium, with consequent antithrombotic properties.

How to use: take 1 capsule twice a day after main meals
