INDICATIONS
AlitraQ® is a food for special medical purposes indicated for the diet of patients in metabolic stress or with impaired gastrointestinal function.
ADVICE FOR USE
Instructions for preparation and use: avoid contamination during preparation and where possible, follow local guidelines for mixing. Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the food. Make sure that all tools and preparation areas are free from contamination. Use disposable gloves when handling food. Pour 250 mL of room temperature water into a clean container, then slowly add the contents of one sachet while stirring. Continue stirring for 30 seconds until the powder is completely dissolved. If not consumed immediately, cover the product and place it in the refrigerator after preparation. Discard uneaten food after 24 hours.
Oral use: serving the product cold improves its flavor by increasing its palatability.
Probe administration: follow doctor's instructions. Flow rate and volume depend on the patient's condition and degree of tolerance. The need for additional fluids can be met by adding water. The food must not hang on the bed for more than 4 hours. Never add a new portion of the food to an already hanging formula.
Keep the product closed in a cool and dry place.
Important Notice: This product can be used as a nutritional supplement. Do not use in children. Do not use in case of galactosemia. Not for parenteral use.
