Active principles

EACH TANK CAP CONTAINS: Active component: cholecalciferol (vitamin D3): 200 IU EACH SOLVENT VIAL CONTAINS: Active component: 1290 mg tribasic calcium phosphate (equal to 500 mg calcium ion)

Excipients

In the tank cap: L-lysine hydrochloride, sodium starch glycolate, dimethicone. In the solvent vial: sucrose, p-hydroxybenzoic acid esters, magnesium and aluminum silicate, strawberry flavor, purified water.

Therapeutic indications

Calcium deficiency syndromes.

Contraindications

Known individual hypersensitivity to one or more constituents of the product. Kidney stones hypercalcemia; hypercalciuria; kidney failure.

Dosage

Adults: 1-2 vials / day for oral use. Children: half dose. - How to use Screw the cap completely until it stops holding the vial in a vertical position. Warnings and Precautions

In case of prolonged or high-dose treatments, make sure that no hypervitaminosis D phenomena appear and periodically check for calcium and calcium. Particular caution is required in treating patients with cardiovascular diseases and digitized subjects for which it is necessary to carry out periodic checks of the ECG trace. Warning for diabetics: each vial contains 2.5 g of sucrose. Do not leave medicines within the reach of children.

Interactions

The absorption of tetracyclines administered orally can be reduced by the simultaneous oral intake of calcium compounds; the administration of the two drugs must be separated by at least three hours. Cholestyramine, corticosteroids and mineral oils interfere with the absorption of vitamins D, reducing it, while barbiturates and phenytoin favor its inactivation. The synergism of calcium / digitalis action on the heart could cause serious disturbances in heart function (see also section 4.4)

Side effects

High doses or prolonged periods of treatment can cause hypercalcemia which manifests itself with nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, polyuria, alteration of the ECG trace.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In pregnant women, the product should be administered in cases of real need, under the direct supervision of the doctor.
