Pesticide for external use suitable for dogs from 10 to 20kg. Treatment for flea infestations only or in association with ticks and / or biting lice.
Active principles
Each 1.34 ml pipette contains: Fipronil 134 mg, S-metoprene 120.6 mg.
Excipients
Butylhydroxyanisole (E320), Butylhydroxytoluene (E321), Povidone (K25), Polysorbate 80, Ethanol 96%, Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.
Indications
The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations with adult fleas persists for 8 weeks. Prevents the multiplication of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs, larvae and pupae from eggs laid by adult fleas for 8 weeks after application.
As for tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus), the product has a persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks.
The product can be used as part of the treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD), where it has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.
Dosage
For external use only, spot-on use. Administer by topical application on the skin: a 1.34 ml pipette (134 mg of fipronil + 120.6 mg of S-metoprene) per dog weighing between 10 and 20 kg. This corresponds to the minimum recommended dose of 6.7 mg / kg of fipronil and 6 mg / kg of S-methoprene, for topical administration to the skin. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.
How to use
Remove the pipette from the bag. Hold the pipette upright, twist and remove the cap. Invert the cap and replace it on the other end of the pipette. Press and twist the cap to break the seal, then remove the cap from the pipette. Part the fur of the animal on the back of the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times to empty the contents completely and directly onto the skin at one point. Temporary hair changes may be observed at the application site (bundled / fat hair).
