Cream

Composition:

100 g of cream contain: CLOTRIMAZOLE 1 g. Excipients: contains cetylstearyl alcohol. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

Excipients

Sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl palmitate, cetyl stearyl alcohol, 2-octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol, purified water.

Therapeutic indications

In all primitive or secondary superficial mycoses, sustained by Epidermophyton, Trichophyton, Microsporum, Candida and Malassezia furfur; in erythrasma; in tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis (Hebra's eczema marginato); in pityriasis versicolor; lichen ruber planus and warty; in primitive pyoderma; for preventive and curative purposes of overlapping infections caused by yeasts (saccharomycetes) and by Gram positive bacteria.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Dosage

ANTIMICOTICO SAME should be applied two-three times a day, rubbing lightly until the cream is absorbed: it is not necessary to use large quantities of product for each application. In the treatment of erythrasma and pityriasis versicolor it is advisable to continue the therapy for at least 3 weeks; in the treatment of all other mycoses it is advisable to continue the treatment for at least 4 weeks, even if the inflammatory symptoms disappear. To avoid relapses, very common in mycosis, it is good to observe some elementary hygiene rules: frequent change of underwear; towels and their chemical or thermal disinfection; avoid promiscuity of clothes and linen, treat the partner at the same time with a therapy of vaginal tablets, etc.

Warnings and Precautions

The use of products for cutaneous use, especially if prolonged, can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In case of hypersensitivity reactions it is necessary to stop the treatment and consult the doctor. In very early childhood and for the treatment of very extensive lesions, the product should be administered under the direct supervision of the doctor. In diaper dermatitis, the use of diapers with an “occlusive” effect is not recommended after applying the cream. After 3-4 weeks of continuous use, without noticeable results and in case of relapses, consult your doctor. Antifungal Same cream contains cetylstearyl alcohol which can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis). Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children .

Interactions

No interactions have been reported in common relevant therapies.

Side effects

Rarely local intolerance reactions may occur such as: irritation, burning sensation and itching, allergic contact dermatitis.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In pregnant women, the product should be administered in case of real need and under the direct supervision of the doctor.
