Soothing and skin softener for children
Rice starch is obtained from the grains of the homonymous plant (Oryza sativa) which contain about 85% starch.
If added to the bath water, rice starch is also an excellent soothing and skin softener for children, certainly preferable to more aggressive soaps. The bath is in fact used to create a barrier against bacteria as the newborn has insufficiently acidic pH. For the newborn the most delicate parts subject to the proliferation of bacteria are the bottom, the armpits, the face.
Rice starch, dissolved in baby bath water, is the most delicate solution for your baby's bath. In addition to ensuring proper hygiene, it is also an excellent anti-inflammatory, soothing and skin softener. Rice starch also has excellent absorbency and it is therefore possible to use it instead of talc as it does not tend to close the pores.
