Dressing
Askina® Calgitrol® with patented formulation matrix, combines calcium alginate and silver alginate with 10% water. In contact with the exudate, the alginate matrix forms a soft gel which allows the release of silver ions.
Askina® Calgitrol® Ag is a technologically advanced dressing that incorporates the effectiveness of the silver ion barrier with the absorbing capabilities of calcium alginate and polyurethane foam.

Contraindication
Do not use on patients with known hypersensitivity to alginates or silver. It should not be used in cases where the presence of metals is contraindicated.
