Ophthalmic Wipes

Description
Wipes indicated for the topical treatment of the eyelids and eyelashes in both adults and children, even in the presence of secretions resulting from allergic, inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various nature. Its use is particularly valid also in the pre- and/or post-operative phase of ophthalmic surgery. It is also recommended for the daily treatment of the area around the eyes in subjects predisposed to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various kinds. Due to its peculiar composition it can also be used by contact lens wearers.
All the components are useful for obtaining an optimal treatment in full respect of the particular physiology of the area around the eyes, which is particularly delicate and sensitive. The product is able to carry out an accurate treatment by mechanically removing secretions, any foreign bodies, dust, etc.

Instructions for use
After carefully cleaning your hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, passing it delicately so as to allow adequate treatment to remove eye secretions and any other deposits (smog, fine dust, etc.). In the event of particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the lacrimal canaliculus, it is advisable to heat the closed bag for a few minutes in warm water (approximately 40°C) and then use the gauze as a hot compress, massaging the area delicately. However, in the case of inflammation it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze on the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.

Components
Soft gauze soaked in the following solution: aqua, polyorbate 20, sodiumhyaluronate, disodium EDTA, trisodium citrate dihydrate, Aloe vera gel powder, glycerol, chlorhexidine digluconate, citric acid monohydrate, allantoin, sodiumhydroxymethylglycinate.

Warnings
The sterility of the product is guaranteed only if the bag is intact. Lagarza is disposable, reuse could be a vehicle for infections. Keep out of reach of children. External use. Suspend treatment in case of evident irritation phenomena or hypersensitivity to the product. In case of infectious states, do not use the same gauze for both eyes.
You must report any serious incident that occurs in relation to the medical device to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State where you are established.
