Aspi throat Spray what it is for
Aspi Throat contains flurbiprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain reliever) medicine that works against inflammation and pain in the throat, mouth and gums.
Aspi Gola Spray for oral mucosa is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age to treat symptoms of pain and irritation of the gums, mouth and throat (for example gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis), also as a consequence of conservative or extractive dental therapy (e.g. caries treatment or tooth extraction).
Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days of treatment.
How to use Aspi Gola
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
How much and how to use Aspi throat spray
Undesirable effects can be minimized with the use of low doses for the shortest possible duration of treatment needed to control symptoms. Warning: do not exceed the indicated doses without medical advice.
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 2 sprays, 3 times a day.
Spray the solution, targeting it directly on the affected area (mouth, throat). Every
spray corresponds to 0.2 ml of solution, equivalent to 0.5 mg of flurbiprofen.
- If you are elderly or have suffered from an ulcer (stomach injury) in the past
If you are elderly or have suffered from a peptic ulcer (stomach injury) in the past, use of the lowest recommended dose is recommended, as there is an increased risk of serious consequences in case of side effects and the risk of developing an ulcer. bleeding or perforation of the stomach and intestines is greater (see section 4 “Possible side effects”).
- Use in children and adolescents: Do not use ASPI THROAT Spray in children under 12 years of age.
Duration of treatment with Aspi throat Spray
Use ASPI GOLA only for short treatment periods of no more than 7 days. If no appreciable results are seen after 3 days of treatment, it may be due to a different pathological condition, so consult your doctor. Talk to your doctor if the disorder occurs repeatedly or if you notice any recent changes in its characteristics.
If you use more ASPI THROAT than you should
If you accidentally ingest / take an overdose of ASPI THROAT please notify your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital. In case of accidental ingestion / ingestion of large quantities of flurbiprofen you may experience symptoms such as: nausea, vomiting, stomach or intestinal irritation, stomach pain or rarely diarrhea. Humming, headache, and bleeding from the stomach or intestines may also occur. In such cases, the doctor will take appropriate treatments.
If you forget to use ASPI GOLA
Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
