Lacrisol Eye Drops

Disinfection of the ocular mucosa; 10ml bottle

Composition

Eye drops. 100 ml contain: Active ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride 0.0045 g; 0.5 g Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose Excipient: Boric acid 0.680 g, Sodium tetraborate 0.120 g, Sodium chloride 0.900 g, sterile distilled water qs 100 ml.

Therapeutic indications

Disinfection of the ocular mucosa. Lubricant and humectant of the eye with lacrimal insufficiency. (Dry eye syndrome).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components.

Dosage

Instill one or two drops into the conjunctival fornix two to four times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use for prolonged treatments unless otherwise prescribed. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use for prolonged treatments unless otherwise prescribed.

Warnings and Precautions

The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to sensitization phenomena; in this case the treatment must be interrupted and the doctor must be consulted to institute suitable therapy. Do not use for prolonged treatments; after a short period of treatment without results consult your doctor. Do not use in children under the age of 12 unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

Interactions

Avoid simultaneous use of other antiseptics and ophthalmic solutions.

Side effects

In some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur, however without consequences, which does not involve modification of the treatment. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any consequences or side effects not described in the package leaflet. However, it disappears very quickly.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no known contraindications.
