A fixation bandage must fit reliably, without slipping and bending, and should restrict the patient's movements as little as possible. Elastomull® meets these requirements. The elasticity of the fabric with its high return force and the large reserve of elasticity allow you to apply the bandage quickly and save material. The elasticity does not deteriorate even after prolonged use. The high percentage of natural fibers allows for good moisture absorption, largely preventing sweating and itching on the skin. Elastomull® is soft and gentle on the skin.
Description and properties
Elastomull® is a highly elastic fastening bandage made of 42% cotton, 29% viscose and 29% polyamide. The wavy texture helps prevent slipping. The individual wraps should only overlap by about a third. Constriction or congestion does not occur when the bandage is applied correctly. The particular cotton content and the light and airy structure of the fabric make Elastomull® particularly pleasant to wear.
