Collisport Acqua is a lubricating ophthalmic solution specifically formulated for athletes who carry out activities in the pool or at the sea. The eye drops designed for the treatment of states of discomfort such as dryness and ocular burning, particularly indicated in situations of fatigue and redness, often related to sports in water.

Hyaluronic acid , in the form of sodium salt, is universally recognized as an excellent lubricant of the ocular surface. It is a linear natural polymer that is also widely used as a tear substitute.

The use of a cross-linked hyaluronic acid, thanks to the presence of a greater number of bonds, allows for better performance in terms of permanence on the eye.

In fact, given its rheological characteristics, it maintains its viscous appearance for a longer time, giving the product a longer lasting lubricating capacity.

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is also more resistant to natural enzymatic degradation processes and this makes the effect more lasting and persistent on the eye.

Scientific studies show that cross-linked hyaluronic acid has a greater re-epithelializing capacity than linear hyaluronic acid.
