Diclofenac 140mg Teva Medicated Patches
Diclofenac Teva is a pain relieving medicine. It belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It is used in short-term treatments, for the local symptomatic relief of acute pain associated with muscle strains, sprains or bruises of arms and legs resulting from non-penetrating trauma.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU USE Diclofenac Teva
Do not use Diclofenac Teva
- If you are allergic to diclofenac, propylene glycol, butylhydroxytoluene or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
- If you are allergic to any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID, e.g. acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen).
- If you have experienced asthma, swelling of the skin or swelling and irritation inside the nose after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
- If you have an active peptic ulcer.
- On injured skin (e.g. skin abrasions, cuts, burns), infected or with eczema.
- During the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and Precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Diclofenac Teva
- If you have or have had in the past from bronchial asthma or allergies you may feel a cramp in the bronchial tubes (bronchospasm), which occurs with difficulty in breathing.
- If a rash appears; remove the medicated plaster immediately and stop treatment.
- If you suffer from kidney, heart or liver dysfunction or have or have suffered in the past from gastrointestinal ulcer, intestinal inflammation or a tendency to bleed.
Undesirable effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible treatment duration.
HOW TO USE Diclofenac Teva
Always use this medicine following exactly what is written in this leaflet or the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is
Apply a medicated plaster to the painful area twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.
The maximum daily dose is 2 medicated plasters even if the area to be treated is more than one. Only one painful area should be treated at a time.
Only use Diclofenac Teva on intact, healthy skin.
Senior citizens
Elderly patients should use Diclofenac Teva with caution, as they are more prone to side effects.
Patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency
In patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency Diclofenac Teva should be used with caution
Children and adolescents under the age of 16
For children and adolescents under the age of 16 there are insufficient data available on safety and efficacy.
Method of administration
For cutaneous use only. Do not swallow.
Cut the pouch containing the medicated plaster along the dotted line.

Pack with 10 medicated plasters.
