0.25% mouthwash

Symptomatic treatment of irritative-inflammatory states also associated with oropharyngeal pain (eg gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis), also as a consequence of conservative or extractive dental therapy.

Contraindications / Side Effects

Hypersensitivity 'to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Dosage

Mouthwash: 2-3 rinses or gargles per day with 10 ml (1 tablespoon) of pure or diluted mouthwash in a little water. Oral mucosal spray: 2 sprays 2-3 times a day addressed directly to the affected part. Each spray delivers 0.2 ml of solution, equivalent to 0.446 mg of active ingredient.

Warnings

The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines for local use could give rise to sensitization phenomena in which case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and institute suitable therapy. The drug should not be swallowed; in this case it could cause heartburn, but there are no foreseeable risks of intoxication, as the quantity of naproxen contained in the medicine is much lower than the dosage foreseen for oral treatment. Contains para-hydroxybenzoates which can cause allergic reactions (including delayed).

Interactions

There were no negative interactions with other drugs commonly used in the relevant therapy.

Side effects

No side effects have been reported due to the use of the medicine.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no contraindications to the use of Cetyltrimethylammonium Naproxenate in pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
