active ingredient: N-acetylcysteine; excipients - Methyl parahydroxy benzoate, Sodium benzoate, Sodium edetate, Sodiumcarboxymethylcellulose, Raspberry flavor, Sodium saccharinate, Sodium hydroxide, Purified water.

How does it work

Fluimucil Mucolytic dissolves the deposits of phlegm present in the bronchi affected by infection, the cause of a fat cough, and allows an easier expulsion.

Active principle

N-acetylcysteine exerts an intense mucolytic and fluidifying action on the catarro, depolymerizing the protein complexes and nucleic acids that make it viscous; it also has an antioxidant action that inhibits oxidizing radicals and increases the defense mechanisms of the respiratory membranes.

Warnings

Interactions with other drugs:

It is not recommended to take Mucolytic Fluimucil with:

• Antitussive drugs, to avoid excessive accumulation of phlegm;
• Activated carbon, which could reduce the effect of N-acetylcysteine;
• Oral antibiotics, whose activity is decreased by Fluimucil Mucolitico;
• Nitroglycerin, due to the risk of even severe hypotension and headaches;

If it is necessary to administer Fluimucil Mucolytic together with these drugs, it is recommended to take them under close medical supervision.
