Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with hypernatremia and hydrosaline plethora.

Dosage
Intravenously. The dose is dependent on age, weight, clinical conditions, electrolyte picture and osmolarity, and is related to the calculated sodium deficit. From one to more units per day and up to 150 mEq of sodium / hour.

Vial and ampoule: Store in tightly closed container. Do not freeze. Bag: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30. C in a tightly closed container. Do not freeze. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not use after this date.
Warnings
Use immediately after opening the container. The solution should be clear, colorless and free from visible particles. It is used for a single and uninterrupted administration and any residue cannot be used. Use with great caution in patients with congestive heart failure, severe renal insufficiency, and in clinical states in which there is edema with salt retention, in patients receiving corticosteroid or corticotropin drugs. Continuous administration without the addition of potassium may cause hypokalaemia. Monitor fluid balance and electrolytes. In children, safety and efficacy have not been established. This is a generic medicine produced according to the rules of the Pharmacopoeia.

Side effects
Febrile responses, injection site infections, venous thrombosis or phlebitis. In the event of an adverse reaction, discontinue administration and keep the non-administered portion for possible testing.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
In pregnancy, administer only in case of real need.
