The CE certified DIY Swab for SARS-CoV-2 Genrui is ideal for use by non-expert users aged 18 to 75 due to its ease of execution and particularly gentle sample collection. Younger or older patients should be followed up while performing the test to avoid erroneous performance.

The self-test immunochromatographic rapid test detects the SARS-CoV-2 nucleolapsid antigen and thus an acute infection. The test result is already available after 15-20 minutes and shows no cross-reaction with frequent infectious diseases such as adenovirus, RSV or influenza A and B.
