Socks and tights that combine a compression effect with a pleasant aesthetic appearance. Lightweight and comfortable, they are available in both closed-toe and open-toe models to best meet the needs of patients. Particularly suitable for modern and dynamic women, who need compression therapy but do not want to give up elegance.
COMPRESSION CLASSES:
• Soft 141/151 : compression class 1
• Soft 241/251 : compression class 2
Class 1: (18-21 mmHg)
Prophylaxis of venous diseases in patients at risk, functional disorders such as heaviness and a sense of fatigue in the legs, initial varicose veins in pregnancy, thrombosis and embolism prophylaxis.
Class 2: (23-32 mmHg)
Mild chronic venous insufficiency (IVC), thrombophlebitis (superficial venous thrombosis) with and without edema, after surgical or endovascular procedures (sclerosing treatment, endovascular laser, radiofrequency, ambulatory varicectomy, saphenous stripping), varicose veins in pregnancy, thrombosis and embolism prophylaxis. After healing of venous ulcer (relapse prophylaxis), post-traumatic edema (at the end of basic treatment).
Absolute contraindications: Infectious dermatitis, dermo-hypodermatitis in the acute phase, dermatosis with active ulcers or sores. Arteriopathies with pressure index (ABI or IW) ≤ 0.55 (unless otherwise indicated by the doctor), Severe neuropathies, Extrinsic compressions on venous vessels (Baker's cyst of the popliteal cavity, lymphadenopathies, etc.), Decompensated heart failure, Septic phlebitis, Ischemic thrombosis (Phlegmasia coerulea dolens and Phlegmasia alba). Rheumatic fibromyalgia or in general any form of intolerance to prolonged pressure on the skin surface.
Relative contraindications: Loss of sensation in the limbs (unless otherwise indicated by the doctor), intolerance to the materials of graduated compression stockings, advanced peripheral neuropathy (eg diabetes mellitus), chronic primary polyarthritis.
Size determination:
Measure the circumference at the ankle ( point b ) to determine the size, check that the leg measurements are within the normal or max range. Then measure the length from the sole of the foot ( point A ) to the upper point of the leg that determines the model ( points D / F / G ) to identify the "short" or "long" type.
Warnings:
The socks are intended for daytime use unless prescribed for nighttime use. It is not necessary to remove the sock for a short day rest.
Suggestions:
Wear the socks, paying attention to rings and pointed or damaged nails that could damage the socks. We therefore recommend the use of rubber gloves. Do not cut any protruding threads inside the socks.
Washing mode:
