Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of gastrointestinal disorders in infants, such as functional constipation and/or infantile colic.
To contribute to faster gastric emptying, to soften the consistency of stools and to less gas formation in the intestine, Humana DGPLUS contains:
- a lipid mixture with an increased beta-palmitate content;
- partially hydrolysed whey proteins;
- GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) prebiotic fibers.
Humana DG PLUS is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants in the first 6 months of life, when not breastfed. It is also suitable for feeding them after 6 months of life as part of a diversified complementary diet.
The product contains less lactose than a traditional infant formula.
