What is ictammolo afom for

This ointment is indicated for inflammations and small skin infections. Furunculosis (pimples), abscesses, and superficial skin ulcerations. Inflammation of the sweat glands (hidradenitis).

Composition of ictammol afom 10 ichthyol ointment

100 g of ointment contain Active ingredient: ammonium sulphichthyolate 10 g. For the complete list of excipients, see par. 6.1.

Excipients contained

White petroleum jelly.

What contraindications does ictammol afom 10 ichthyol ointment have ?

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

How should ictammol afom 10 ichthyol ointment be applied?

In a very simple way, just apply the ointment in the necessary quantity in the part to be treated, at least 2/3 times a day, covering with a gauze.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not apply near the eyes and on mucous membranes. Avoid exposure to the sun and UVA rays after application. The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines for local use can give rise to phenomena of irritation or sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue treatment.
