Description
Medical device for vaginal administration.
Adjuvant treatment in inflammatory, atrophic and dystrophic diseases of the vaginal mucosa, such as cervicitis and ectropion. Due to its humectant action, INFECTVAGIN is indicated following physical treatment (DTC, Lasertherapy, Cryotherapy) or in cases of post-menopausal vaginal dryness, even in the presence of oozing blood.
INFECTVAGIN®, thanks to the content in gelatin (hydrolysed collagen) and Equisetum arvense extract, creates the conditions to favor the healing and re-epithelialization processes, while the PHMB and lactic acid allow the restoration of the vaginal physiological pH, thus counteracting the proliferation of pathogenic germs .
How to use
Insert an egg in the evening. Take an ovule from the blister, separate the two flaps of the package, extract the ovule and insert it deeply into the vagina.
Components
One ovule contains: hydrolysed xollagen, Equisetum arvense glycolic extract, polyhexamethylenbiguanide (PHMB), lactic acid, glycerin, purified water.
Warnings
All the operations described must be carried out delicately, avoiding compressing the egg. The product that presents an excessive softness, resulting from exposure to a heat source, does not lose its characteristics; however, it is advisable to place the egg in the refrigerator for the time necessary to reach the desired consistency.
The product should only be administered vaginally. In clinical trials, the product has been shown not to be sensitizing. In case of unwanted reactions, interrupt the administration of the product and consult your doctor.
Polyhexamethylenebiguanide (PHMB) is considered a rare contact allergen, with a sensitization rate of 0.5% in an unselected population. Immediately interrupt the administration if allergic contact dermatitis reactions are noted and consult your doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
Ascertained individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Use during pregnancy or for long periods must be under medical supervision. Do not use the product if hypersensitivity to polyhexamethylenebiguanide or similar substances is known.

Keep the product away from heat sources, at a temperature below 25°C. After use, do not dispose of the container in the environment.
Do not use the product after the expiration date.
