Nail Polish-Antifungal

NIOGERMOX, is an OTC drug that does not require a medical prescription, is indicated for the treatment of nail fungus.

Composition

Niogermox is made with a new patented transungual delivery technology, based on the use of a water-soluble film-forming biopolymer, hydroxypropylchitosan (HPCH), which, unlike acrylic or polyvinyl lacquers that imprison the nail, allows the ciclopirox, an antifungal active ingredient broad spectrum, to be released immediately and to easily penetrate the keratin of the nail. Thanks to this vehicle, which has a great affinity for nail keratin with smoothing and barrier activity, the active principle is not removed from adherent surfaces, such as socks or shoes.

How to use

In consideration of the duration of the nail fungus treatment, of about 6 months for those localized on the hands and from 9 to 12 months for those of the feet, the new ISDIN makes the treatment more manageable by the patient, who will be able to apply the product earlier. of the night rest, in order to guarantee the necessary 6 hours of contact.

Thanks to the water-soluble technology, the therapeutic use of Niogermox is in fact simplified, especially as regards the removal: if on the one hand it takes only 30 seconds for the enamel to dry, forming an invisible film permeable to humidity and air that it allows the release of ciclopirox, on the other hand, it is sufficient to wash the nails with water to remove the product.
