Syrup Adults

ACTIVE PRINCIPLE:
Sachets: carbocysteine 0.3 g. Syrup Adults: 100 ml contain: carbocci-stein 0.3 g. Syrup Children: 100 ml contain: 0.5 g carbocysteine.

EXCIPIENTS:
Sachets: sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, colloidal silica, apricot flavor 1: 200, sucrose, sodium saccharin.

Syrup Adults and Children: sodium hydroxide, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium chloride, caramel flavor, sucrose, sweet orange essence, purified water.

PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY:
Mucolytic.

INDICATIONS:
Mucolytic, fluidifying in acute and chronic respiratory diseases.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Gastroduodenal ulcer, ascertained individual hypersensitivity to the product.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Digestive phenomena may occur: gastralgia, nausea, vertigo, diarrhea. In this case it is necessary to reduce the dosage.

WARNINGS :
The increase in sputum, which is observed from the first days and demonstrates the lysis of pathological secretions, quickly subsides. The product contains sucrose, keep in mind in case of diabetes or low calorie diets.

DOSAGE :
SACHETS: The recommended average dosage is half - one sachet twice a day (children) and one sachet three - four times a day (adults).

2% SYRUP: Children under the age of five: 1 teaspoon 1-2 times a day; Children over 5 years: 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day in relation to age.

5% SYRUP: Adults: 2-3 tablespoons per day. The above doses can be increased in the opinion of the doctor. Recommended duration of treatment: acute respiratory tract diseases: 8 to 10 days; chronic and relapsing diseases: from 10 days to 3 weeks, several times a year. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in half a glass of water, stirring with a teaspoon.
