Zinc food supplement, useful for the normal function of the immune system and for the protection from oxidative stress. The product is formulated using organic zinc gluconate, one of the forms most assimilable by the body. Like all minerals produced by Jamieson, this product is also guaranteed free of heavy metals.

Zinc is an essential trace mineral present in every cell of the body that affects a large number of enzymatic reactions. The adult human organism contains a total of about 1.5 g-3.0 g stored mainly in muscles (60-65%), bones, skin, retina and prostate. Zinc is involved in the synthesis of DNA and proteins, contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The best known dietary sources of zinc are oysters, however it is also present in relatively high concentrations in other crustaceans and fish, in meat, milk and derivatives, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds. It should be emphasized that zinc of vegetable origin is less bioavailable since, by binding to phytic acid (a compound of fibers) to form an insoluble zinc-phytate complex, it is not absorbed.

How to use

Take 1 tablet daily with a main meal.
