Characteristics
With the decrease in the levels of estrogen and progesterone, discomfort such as depression, mood alteration, irritability, palpitations, hot flashes, sleep disturbances may appear. It increases the risk of osteoporosis and the onset of cardiovascular disease. It is an alternative to both conventional hormone therapy and the use of soybean diphytoestrogens.
