Composition:
Each vial contains Active Ingredients: 12 mg thiamine hydrochloride, 24 mg nicotinamide, 6 mg cyanocobalamin, 6 mg folic acid.
Excipients
After the addition and dissolution of the vitamins contained in the plastic cap, each vial contains folic acid, nicotinamide, thiamine hydrochloride and cyanocobalamin, with the following excipients: a) mannitol 6 mg, b) methyl p-hydroxybenzoate 24.9 mg , c) propyl p-hydroxybenzoate mg 3, d) natural orange flavor 21 mg, e) natural lemon flavor 21 mg, f) caramel (E 150) mg 100, g) ethyl alcohol g 1.2, h) glycerin g 2.4, i) sucrose g 4.44, l) purified water to taste g 12.
Therapeutic indications
Macrocytic anemias (pernicious and pernicious), secondary anemias, adjuvant in respect of hepatic and gastrointestinal insufficiency, organic debilitation.
Contraindications
Known individual hypersensitivity to one or more components. See also section "Special warnings and precautions for use".
Dosage
Oral vials: Adults: 2 vials per day, before main meals Children: 1 vial per day (in two halves), before meals How to use The Vitamins, isolated in the state of dry powder dispersible in the reservoir cap, are dissolved at the time of use, as follows: Remove the external protective cap. Press firmly on the cutting cap causing the vitamins to fall into the syrup. Shake a few minutes until dissolving.
Warnings and Precautions
Due to the presence of sucrose (4.44 g / 12 g of syrup), Folepar B12 is contraindicated in hereditary fructose intolerance, in glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or in sucrase-isomaltase deficiencies. The product contains ethyl alcohol (1.2 g / 12 g of syrup) and can therefore be harmful in subjects suffering from liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain diseases, pregnant women and children. Ethanol can modify or enhance the effect of other drugs. The product contains glycerin which in high doses can cause headache, gastric disturbances and diarrhea. Due to the presence of methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, the medicine can cause urticaria; delayed-type reactions generally occur; rarely immediate reactions with urticaria and bronchospasm. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Interactions
There are no known interactions of clinical significance.
Side effects
The medicinal product, in the recommended therapeutic doses, is well tolerated and has not caused the onset of side effects.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The specialty is also indicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, it should be borne in mind that the product contains ethyl alcohol.
