Betadine 10% Meda Impregnated Garze

Betadine ® gauzes , in the 10x10 cm format, impregnated with an antiseptic solution, are indicated for the treatment of small wounds and skin infections. The active ingredient of Betadine ® , Iodopovidone (10% Iodine), is active on Gram + and Gram - bacteria, fungi, protozoa, yeasts and some viruses. Povidone iodone has the advantage, compared to elemental iodine, of being soluble in water and of being less irritating and well tolerated by the skin and mucous membranes. You can apply 1 to 3 gauzes per day.

Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents. Do not use soaps or ointments containing mercury or benzoin compounds on the treated area at the same time.

Important

Betadine ® gauze combines the antiseptic action with also physical protection of the wound.
