Betadine 1% Meda Mouthwash

Betadine ® 1% mouthwash is a mint flavored antiseptic solution for the disinfection of the oral mucosa. The active ingredient of Betadine ®, Iodopovidone (10% Iodine), is active on Gram + and Gram - bacteria, fungi, protozoa, yeasts and some viruses. Povidone iodone has the advantage, compared to elemental iodine, of being soluble in water and of being less irritating. Betadine ® 1% mouthwash can be used pure or diluted but the effectiveness is maintained at the dilution of 1 part of Betadine ® for 2 of water; you can use it 2-3 times a day. Avoid simultaneous use of other antiseptic-based products. Do not use soaps or ointments containing mercury or benzoin compounds on the treated area at the same time.
