Description

A breathable fixation dressing that allows monitoring of the wound area.

Mepore® Film is a self-adhesive film dressing, ideal as a secondary fixation dressing to cover hydrogel or alginate dressings . You can use it for a wide range of cleansing wounds during granulation.

Mepore® Film is breathable , to avoid wound maceration, and is easy to apply even when wearing gloves. Being transparent, it allows you to easily see the area surrounding the wound.

When to use Mepore® Film

Mepore® Film can be used as a conformable fixation dressing to cover primary dressings, including hydrogel and alginate dressings. Mepore Film is designed for a wide range of cleansed granulation wounds, such as superficial burns, catheter insertion sites, abrasions, lacerations, donor sites, closed surgical wounds, superficial pressure ulcers and to prevent skin lesions.
