Chewable tablets

Composition

METEOSIM 40 mg chewable tablets: One tablet contains: active ingredient: simethicone emulsion 30% 133, 3 mg (equal to simethicone 40 mg)

Excipients

Chewable tablets: lactose, alginic acid, calcium silicate monohydrate, sodium saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, methylcellulose.

Therapeutic indications

Gastro-enteric meteorism, aerophagia in both the adult and the infant and child

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to simethicone or to any of the excipients.

Dosage

Adults: 4 tablets per day (2 at the end of each main meal). The tablets should be chewed. Infants and children: 15 drops (= 0.6 ml), 2-4 times a day, preferably after meals or according to medical prescription. Disperse the drops in a little water.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. The medicine is not contraindicated for people with celiac disease.
