Gynecological foam

Composition :

100 ml of 1% foam contain: Active ingredient: 1 g cyclopyroxolamine.

Excipients

Monoethanolamine lauryl sulfate, polyethylene glycol 150 stearate, polysorbate 20, lecithindiethanolamide, sodium edetate, benzyl alcohol, perfume, lactic acid, purified water to taste

Therapeutic indications

Adjuvant in the treatment of vulvo-vaginal infections caused by Candida.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity or allergy already known to the preparation.

Dosage

It is advisable to use MICOMICEN foam 1 or 2 times a day, during the treatment period with MICOMICEN ovules and / or MICOMICEN cream. The external genitals are cleaned with 10 cc (1 dose) of gynecological foam dissolved in water, without rinsing.

Warnings and Precautions

In vaginal mycosis, reinfection by the partner is possible (ping-pong effect). It is therefore advisable to carry out a concomitant treatment of the partner with MICOMICEN 1% cream and / or foam. It is also recommended to abstain from sexual intercourse for the entire duration of the therapy. Repeated use of the product can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, stop using the product and establish a suitable therapy.

Interactions

Not reported in the literature or found in clinical practice.

Side effects

Slight burning may rarely occur in the first few days of treatment; the possible appearance of sensitization phenomena requires the suspension of the treatment and the adoption of adequate therapeutic measures.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

In pregnant women, the product should be used only in case of real need and under the direct supervision of the Doctor.
