MucoAricodil 30mg / 10ml Menarini Syrup - Medical Device
It is a product based on ambroxol hydrochloride, with a mucolytic action, indicated in case of productive cough.
Ambroxol works by regulating the transport of secretions throughout the respiratory tree. It also has a marked mucolytic and mucoregulatory activity. The pharmacological effect is expressed on the quality of the mucus.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Adults: initially 10 ml 3 times a day, then 5 ml 3 times a day.
Children up to two years: 2.5 ml 2 times a day; from two to five years: 2.5 ml 3 times a day; over five years: 5 ml 3 times a day. Each ml of syrup is equivalent to 3 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride. A 5 ml measuring spoon with notches corresponding to 1/2 and 1/4 is attached to the syrup package. It is advisable to take the drug during or after main meals.
COMPOSITION
Syrup 200 ml
100 ml of syrup contain Active ingredient: ambroxol hydrochloride 300 mg
Excipients: Benzoic acid, glycerol 85%, sorbitol solution 70%, hydroxyethylcellulose, raspberry flavor, purified water.
WARNINGS
MUCOARICODIL should not be used in subjects with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients and in those with severe hepatic and / or renal disorders. The syrup contains sorbitol: the product is therefore contraindicated in hereditary fructose intolerance.
