The role of Vitamins D and K up to 3 months of age is of fundamental importance.

Nalkevit DK is a Vitamin complex that prevents Neonatal Hemorrhagic Disease (MEN).

Neonatal haemorrhagic disease is a disease characterized by a lack of Vitamin K. At birth, Vitamin K levels are low in the blood and liver of the newborn as this vitamin has very little passage through the placenta; the synthesis of endogenous Vitamin K begins when the intestinal flora appears with the start of enteral feeding; breast milk contains very low and inadequate amounts of this vitamin.
