States of malnutrition or a poor supply of the right nutrients can negatively affect the healing processes related to problems such as burns, surgical wounds, slow-healing injuries, venous leg ulcers, pressure sores and diabetic ulcers. Nestlé Health Science has thought of a range of specific products, enriched in specific amino acids (proline and arginine), vitamins and minerals, designed to encourage healing and tissue regeneration.
Resorce Repair is a high-calorie and high-protein nutritional support, containing a high concentration of proline, arginine, zinc and selenium, essential elements for promoting rapid cell repair. The packs contain 4 vials of 200 ml which, individually, provide 18 g of protein, 6 g of fat and 32 g of carbohydrates, for a total of 25 calories per unit. Resource® Repair can be used as a supplement, to the extent of 1-3 bottles per day, or constitute (upon appropriate medical prescription) the only source of daily nutrition, to be administered between 6 and 8 vials depending on the nutritional needs of the patient.
Also suitable for the nutritional support of children over the age of 6, the solution is made using top quality ingredients and has a high biological value protein base, derived from delactosed milk.
