Wrist And Thumb Immobilizer

Brace for the support, protection and immobilization of the wrist. The particular New Edge closure system allows you to customize this brace according to an infinite number of individual measurement and compression needs. Three anatomical rods are inserted in the base, which can be cold-molded and can be removed as needed; externally, in correspondence of the thumb, an easily moldable rod is positioned to block the flexion of the thumb. In order to ensure comfort and allow prolonged use over time, particular attention has been paid to the selection of fabrics, made exclusively with natural, hypoallergenic and breathable fibers:

• the inside is made of a soft cotton velvet, extremely comfortable to the touch which ensures free transpiration to the skin;
• the external one is made up of a dense network of nylon threads forming many loops very close to each other and very resistant, which allow the hooking of the normal hooked velcro.

Indications:

• degenerative pathologies: rhizo-arthrosis, carpal tunnel, arthrosis;
• traumatic pathologies: sprains, carpal and metacarpal fractures, tendonitis, trauma to the thumb;
• rehabilitation phase: post-trauma and post-surgery tendon muscle discharge.
