Description
Disposable adhesive film for ear protection, composed of a "protect film" polyurethane adhesive film.
It is indicated to protect the auricle of patients with infectious and/or inflammatory pathologies affecting the external ear and the middle ear with or without perforation of the tympanic membrane, in the case of a post-operative course or in subjects wearing hearing aids or with trans-tympanic drainage.
OTOSCUDO reproduces the shape of the auricle with a configuration that makes it bilateral, i.e. applicable indifferently on the right or left ear.
It is made in three layers: the "protect film" adhesive film, a covering layer applied on the non-adhesive face of the protect film, a release layer to be removed placed in contact with the adhesive face to allow easier release of OTOSCUDO at the time of 'application.
Thanks to the characteristics of the polyurethane adhesive film "protect film" OTOSCUDO is:
transparent: the adhesive film that is applied to the ear is transparent and aesthetically almost invisible;
waterproof: the adhesive film protects the ear from exposure to air and water, such as in the case of swimming in the sea, showers, swimming and, more generally, during outdoor recreational and sporting activities;
breathable: the film is gas-permeable. This allows, with the passage of air, to avoid condensation phenomena and to maintain the ability to hear voices and sounds practically unchanged with particular benefit for those wearing hearing aids.
Instructions for use
1. Remove the central part (the larger one) of the white sticker cover.
2. Hold the protector by the two ends that have residual adhesive cover with the fingers of both hands.
Apply the protector to the ear, keeping it taut, matching the upper part with the adhesive cover on the upper part of the auricle and the lower part with the adhesive cover on the lobe.
Once the central part of the film adheres well, remove the two parts of adhesive cover still present on the film, making sure that the entire surface adheres to the ear.
3. Remove the two transparent parts supporting the film with green squares, being careful not to let it detach from the ear. It is recommended to keep the film still, squeezing half of it while removing the other support half and vice versa.
4. Once all the backing has been removed, make sure that each part of the film adheres well to the ear by pressing it onto the ear.
