Branched-chain amino acids comprise three essential amino acids: L-leucine, L-valine and L-isoleucine. The branched chain amino acids, in conditions of metabolic stress (ie while the body is subjected to an effort) are able to provide support for protein synthesis and can be a source for energy production (gluconeogenesis).
The functions of amino acids are dependent on the presence of B vitamins, which play a fundamental role in optimizing the catabolic and anabolic functions of branched chain amino acids.
Ingredients: L-leucine, L-valine, L-isoleucine, bulking agents: sodium carboxymethylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents: E 551, E 470b; pyridoxine HCl (vitamin B6), riboflavin (vitamin B2), thiamine HCl (vitamin B1), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).
