ReGENERA Therapeutic Lenses - Medical Device
Soft therapeutic contact lens for ocular bandage with 16.5 mm diameter (ionic material G-72 HW H2O 72%) in saline solution buffered with Aloe vera. The lens is compatible with eye drops used in post-operative therapy.
The REGENERA therapeutic lens can only be used under the strict indications of a doctor and optician. REGENERA therapeuticlens does not have a refractive function and two models have been developed: REGENERAtherapeutic lens CORNEALE to facilitate corneal re-epithelialization in post-operative refractive surgery or in case of abrasions and traumas of the corneal surface; REGENERA therapeutic lens SCLERAL as an ocular bandage in post-surgery or in pathological conditions that require limbal coverage, for a wider protection of the ocular surface. The ionicity of the material allows a better interaction with the tear film and an optimal passage of eye drops through the lens. The Aloe vera solution in which the lentil is soaked has a soothing and anti-inflammatory action, as well as favoring the re-epithelialization process.
How to use
Regenera Therapeutic Lens are applied like normal contact lenses. They can be worn extensively for a cumulative total period not exceeding 30 days.
Warnings
Never use expired contact lenses; use only eye drops compatible with the use of contact lenses, some eye medications can compromise the tolerability of the lenses; some drugs (antihistamines, decongestants, diuretics, muscle relaxants, tranquilizers and those for movement syndromes) can cause dry eye, increasing sensitivity to lenses and blurring the eye; some drugs can change the sensitivity towards the lenses but also the quality of vision; do not use sprays or aerosols when wearing lenses; REGENERA therapeutic lens is not recommended for all those who are sensitive or intolerant to distilled aloe vera water due to the presence of this additive in the storage solution of the final product.
