Resveratrol is a polyphenol characterized by an antioxidant power. Resveratrol is of vegetable origin which performs the function of defense against infectious agents in plants. Lactoferina is a glycoprotein normally present in milk and saliva which can be useful for promoting natural defenses. Lactoferrin (lactotransferrin) is a glycoprotein with an antimicrobial and iron-carrying action.
Known for some time (discovered by Sorensennellattenel 1939), it has recently been re-evaluated for its antioxidant, immunomodulatory and anti-infective properties. Typical of milk, as the name suggests, lactoferrin is also present in various mucous screeds, such as tears and saliva.
