The bag is firmly fixed to the adhesive plate by means of a mechanical attachment system. An audible 'click' confirms the secure locking of the bag to the adhesive plate.
Before the pouch is closed, it can be rotated to the desired position, without having to remove it from the adhesive plate.
The pouch can be removed from the SenSura® Adhesive Plate with double-layered adhesive, allowing the pouch to be replaced more frequently than the Adhesive Plate.

Convex plate, for difficult to manage ostomies

SenSura® Adhesive Plates are available with Convex Light. The Convex Light Oval Shaped Adhesive Plate is designed specifically for stomas that are difficult to manage (for example, a stoma that is flush, retracted, or located in a skin fold). Apply light direct pressure to the peristomal skin to reduce the risk of leakage by allowing the stoma to protrude. For more information on Convex Light, consult your stoma nurse.
