Description
Calcium alginate dressings.
It is made of natural fibers derived from algae. It is designed to be highly absorbent.
Alginate absorbs wound exudates and forms a gel-like covering over the wound, maintaining a moist environment for wound healing. The gel-like surface also prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound, so it is painless to remove.
Does not contain latex and phthalates.

Instructions for use
Clean the wound with a saline solution and gently dry the skin surrounding the wound.
Choose the right size of dressing based on the wound area. Apply the dressing to the wound bed without overlapping the surrounding skin area, to avoid maceration.
Cover and secure the alginate dressing with a secondary nonocclusive dressing.
Sorbalgon Classic can stay on the wound for up to seven days. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the condition of the wound and the level of exudate.

Warnings
Disposable device: do not reuse.
Sorbalgon Classic is contraindicated on all patients who may be allergic to any of its components.
Do not use when the wound is infected. Do not use on dry wounds.
If redness or allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use of the product.
The application of Sorbalgon Classic on wounds that require surgical treatment to achieve haemostasis is not recommended. Continuous use cannot exceed 30 days.
In the absence of available data to support the use of this dressing on sensitive population groups such as newborns, children, pregnant or breastfeeding women and, in the absence of contrary data, on these population groups, this dressing should be used with caution following the recommendation of a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
If the packaging is damaged, do not use the product. Sterility cannot be guaranteed in case of damaged packaging.
