What are the ingredients of arvenum tablets?

Each film-coated tablet contains: active ingredient Purified flavonoic fraction, micronized 500 mg. Made up of: diosmin 450 mg; flavonoids expressed in hesperidin 50 mg. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

Excipients

Sodium carboxymethyl starch, microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin, glycerin, hypromellose, sodium lauryl sulfate, yellow iron oxide E 172, iron oxide red E 172, titanium dioxide, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, talc

Therapeutic indications

Symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency; states of capillary fragility

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Dosage and method of administration

This product is taken in a very simple way, just 2 film-coated tablets a day (1 at noon and 1 in the evening) at mealtimes, even in venous insufficiency of the haemorrhoidal plexus, just accompany the product with a glass of antural water at room temperature drunk in small sips.

Side effects

The following adverse effects or reactions have been reported and ranked under the following frequency: very common (≥1 / 10); common (≥1 / 100 to <1/10); uncommon (≥1 / 1,000 to <1/100); rare (≥1 / 10,000, <1 / 1,000); very rare (<1 / 10,000), not known (cannot be estimated from the available data). Nervous system disorders Rare: dizziness, headache, malaise Gastrointestinal disorders Common: diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting. Uncommon: colitis Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders Rare: rash, pruritus, urticaria. Not known: isolated cases of edema of the face, lips, eyelid. Exceptionally, Quincke's edema. Blood and lymphatic system disorders A few cases of thrombocytopenia, the frequency of which is unknown, have been reported in the post-marketing setting.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy The safety of the drug in pregnancy has not been established, therefore it is advisable not to administer the product during pregnancy. Lactation In the absence of data on milk excretion, treatment should be avoided during lactation.

The product is sold in packs of 30 coated tablets ready to use, moreover it is important to keep the product in a cool place away from sources of heat and humidity, absolutely keep out of the reach of children.
