What is Synflex used for
Synflex capsule is a non-steroidal anti-rheumatic anti-inflammatory drug, indicated in the treatment of painful manifestations, due to musculoskeletal diseases or to surgical and dental interventions. It is also indicated in dysmenorrhea and migraines.
Synflex posology
It is advisable to take Synflex Tablets initially 550mg then 275mg every 6-8 hours or 550mg every 12 hours for adults, for the elderly the dosage must be carefully established with possible reduction of the dosage, in case of hepatic and renal insufficiency the treatment must be limited to minimum effective dose with simultaneous periodic monitoring of clinical and laboratory parameters, especially for prolonged treatments.
Contraindications with the use of Synflex
Synflex capsules must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients and / or other substances, it must not be used in case of gastroduodenal ulcer and peptic ulcer in progress or ulcerative colitis; history of gastrointestinal haemorrhage or perforation related to previous active treatments or history of recurrent peptic ulcer / haemorrhage (two or more distinct episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding); Severe heart failure. Synflex capsules cannot be administered to children under the age of 2 years, nor to pregnant and breastfeeding women or to patients in whom acetylsalicylic acid and / or other NSAIDs induce allergic manifestations, such as asthma, urticaria, rhinitis, anaphylactic reactions.
