Characteristics
• The triple faceted tip, with the perfect Lancet Point cut designed by Terumo, guarantees a gentle and and advantages: easy puncture with minimal discomfort for the patient.
• The accurate processing with ultrasonic finishing and the particular smoothness of the cannula, combined with the masterly cut of the tip, allow penetration without trauma to the needle.
• The very high quality X5CrNi18-9 medical grade stainless steel cannula is available, depending on the needle gauge, with regular, thin or “Terumo-Thin” wall (see table “Technical Specifications”).
• Neolus “Terumo-Thin” wall needles are manufactured according to the very strict Terumo internal standards, and offer an optimal ratio between small gauges and high flows. Thanks to the “Terumo-Thin” wall, in fact, using a smaller gauge needle you get the same flow allowed by a regular-walled needle with a larger diameter, which allows an even more painless injection.
• A model with blunt tip is also available, exclusively in the 18G x 40mm size, created for laboratory use and to minimize the risk of accidental puncture when taking the drug from ampoules and vials and reconstituting it in the syringe.
• The cone is clear and color-coded for immediate identification of flashback and needle size.
• Individual blister packaging with ISO color coding guarantees both sterility protection until use and immediate identification of the needle size.
