In single-dose format, without preservatives, for nebulization, it acts through various mechanisms that facilitate the movement of secretions of the respiratory tract, improving respiration through the following ways: by breaking the ionic bonds in the mucous gel, thus reducing the level of secretion of viscosity and elasticity; absorbing water from the mucosa and submucosa, thereby reducing swelling from the walls of the respiratory tract; inducing cough and sputum, which can help eliminate mucus from the bronchi, improving the obstruction of the respiratory tract.

Unidea Saline 3% in inhalation therapy is particularly indicated for patients suffering from bronchiolitis, acute bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used as a vehicle for other inhaled pharmaceutical products.

COMPOSITION

Sterile 3% sodium chloride solution.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

It can be used with any type of nebulizer. It is recommended to follow the instructions for use provided by the device manufacturer. Use 4 or 5 ml of solution in the inhalation therapy according to the medical prescription.
